Carol Combs - Vocals & Percussion

Carol's been singing and on stage for many years. From small groups in a church setting, to large groups on a cruise ship, her love of singing and performing brings a dynamic stage presence while down to earth and real with whatever audience and musicians there might be. A variety of genre's are in her portfolio, and with an adaptable range, quick study of melodies, and easy-going personality, She's learned to be flexible and fun entertaining. Just give Carol the lyrics, if she don't know them, let her hear the sound, and her pipes will do the rest. She also plays handheld percussion's such as tambourine, rattles, triangle, cow bell, rakes, and some bongos, etc.

Bill Stevens - Vocals & Percussion

Bill was born in New Jersey in the 1950’s and became interested in drums at a young age. His early influences were Gene Krupa, Joe Morello, Sandy Nelson, Carmine Appice, Ginger Baker, and John Bonham. He took lessons in high school and played in the school band. Bill also played in local rock bands after school, performing at all the block parties and school dances. After the military, he enrolled in the local Junior College and majored in music. While living in the Antelope Valley, he honed his skills with the Bakersfield Sound. The style of country music that emerged in the 1950s characterized by its hard-driving, guitar-driven style with a backbeat ( Buck Owens , Merle Haggard), and more. Bill has performed with several area rock and country bands locally.

Fred Becher - Guitar & Vocals

Fred started playing in 62 at his high school. After graduating in 65 he moved to Seattle and played garage rock, surf music, blues. In 67 Fred moved to L.A., and formed a 60’s hippie rock band, “Gypsy Moss” that released three-45 vinyls in 69. They played all the hot Hollywood venues. Blues and rock bands occupied Fred throughout the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000's. He moved to Arizona in 2017. As a new venture he added the bass ukulele to the Phoenix Sandwich Isle Ukulele Band playing at local venue’s including the Rhythm Room, MIM, Mesa Arts Center, Elks Lodges, and 55+ Community Centers. He recently formed Wing’n a Song. Fred’s creativity and technological knowledge turns average ‘covers’ into memorable sounds.

Larry Difiori - Rhythmn & Bass Guitar

Larry was born in Pennsylvia in the 1960’s and became interested in big band music at a young age. He took private lessons in high school and played in the school band. Larry joined Fred and Sunrise Band Mesa In 2022 playing rythmn & bass. He is featured on thier recording of Neal Young's Harvest Moon on the Sunrise Band Mesa Facebook page. He retired from Sunrise and joined Fred in forming the new inovational Wing'n a Song band. Larry is adept as a rythmn guitarist but fully pushes that hard driving bass guitar sound.
